Jersey is situated in the Bay of St Malo and at the closest point is just 14 miles from the French coast. Warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream, spring arrives early and summer lingers on. Jersey consistently receives more sunshine than anywhere else in the British Isles.

Jersey is well known for its magnificent sandy beaches, granite cliffs, tiny coves and crystal clear waters. Inland, winding shaded lanes take you through wooded valleys and verdant countryside. Jersey is thoroughly British but with a distinct French flavour. The French influence lingers on in place and street names and in the excellent local cuisine.

St Aubin

St Aubin is a beautiful fishing village situated on the island’s south coast. It boasts some of the best restaurants in the island, many overlooking the picturesque harbour. The extensive choice of restaurants covers a huge variety of nationalities and styles from casual reasonably priced dining to more sophisticated high end cuisine. The Sail Loft is sited on the cobbled high street, together with many 18th century merchants’ houses. There are magnificent walks from St Aubin along the coast or to the famous lighthouse at Corbiere. This great location gives you the convenience of all the local amenities without the hustle and bustle of the main town.
